Noah is a restless musician who spontaneously quits his current gig to go back home to Australia. Wandering around his hometown one night, he meets Finn, a trans man who helps run a center for the local deaf community. Noah offers to make music for the club night at the center, and this offer sets off a getting-to-know-you between the two men that will reveal they each have something to learn: for Finn, what hold-ups stand in the way of his desired transition, and for Noah, the ability to give love without leaving. As they let each other further into their lives, moments of both growing pains and togetherness arise, making for a romantic relationship between two men whose identities don’t usually coincide on screen. The result is a gratifying story of the journey of becoming a fuller version of oneself, and the sweetness of falling in love when it’s least expected.
