Teachers: we came across a cool webinar opportunity that we highly recommend! StoryCenter is offering a FREE one-hour webinar on Digital Storytelling for Educators on Tuesday, June 20th at 2 pm MST.
Since 1993, StoryCenter has been working with colleges and universities to harness the power of digital storytelling to increase proficiency in media literacy, research, interdepartmental capacity building, student recruitment, service learning, study abroad, and staff development. This webinar will feature an overview of the theory behind this work, a glimpse at current projects, and an introduction to our pedagogic concerns and strategies in the design of impactful storytelling and participatory media efforts.
