A virtual craft-focused conversation with the director of the recent documentary, The Body Politic, Gabriel Francis Paz Goodenough, and peace activist, Erricka Bridgeford, who is featured in the film. Together, we will discuss the particular opportunities and challenges of making a profile piece about a political figure, Baltimore Mayor, Brandon Scott, and how film and storytelling can be used as pathways to healing and change. We will invite Gabriel and Errick to share about how their lives and careers have led to the making of this film, their experience of connecting and working with Brandon, and how the film has provided healing to them and their community. Attendees will be invited to ask questions and participate in the conversation.
A temporary, private link to the film will be provided to those who rsvp prior to the event.
