Join us for #GivingTuesday, a global movement to kick off the giving season by inspiring people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity.
Our goal is to raise $6,000 to help support access to media education for 12,000 students.
Last year 11,700 students participated in our in-classroom and virtual media education workshops and film screenings, including more than 5,000 students who attended our Virtual Tumbleweeds Festival Field Trips. This year, your #GivingTuesday donation will support free access to all of our media arts education programs for Utah’s teachers and students, including, teacher professional development, workshops taught by professional artists, free film resources with study guides, and 2023 Tumbleweeds Festival Field Trips (whether virtual or in person).
Youth today are growing up in a media-saturated environment. Utah Film Center’s media arts education programs understand this striking shift in how youth live and learn, and work to harness the power of the moving image to encourage students to engage media arts with curiosity, thoughtfulness, and creativity.
These programs have been designed to reach students around the state, through in person and virtual options. You can help students gain access to these enriching and important programs by donating today.
