Many Utah school districts do not have adequate funds to provide field trip opportunities to their students and YOU can help! The biggest cost for a field trip is not the experience itself, but the bus and transportation. Please consider donating to Utah Film Center’s Media Education program to help supply buses for our upcoming Tumbleweeds Film Festival for Kids field trips! Tumbleweeds is a kids film festival that presents new, culturally-enriching, curated cinema for ages 4-14. Students will see the best animation and live-action film from around the world, participate in media arts workshops, and explore a variety of activities designed to balance visual content, active play, and critical thinking. The Festival attracts students from throughout the Salt Lake metropolitan region and the state.
