Create Sound FX

Learning Objective: Students will learn how movie sound effects are made and the impact they have on the audience’s experience.

This Learn and Go box will ask students to experiment with different materials to create sound effects, then think critically about what that sounds they could be used for. This will give them insight to understand what a Foley Artist does and why they are so important in the film industry.

Recommended grades: K-8
