Stop Motion Applications: History Day Project

Learning Objective: Students will use stop motion animation techniques – such as composition, movement, and editing – to create a History Day Project about the life of Harriet Tubman.

This Learn & Go lesson utilizes concepts and strategies taught through the Utah Film Center’s Introduction to Stop Motion Animation classroom workshop. This lesson is intended to build upon Stop Motion Animation fundamentals, while providing teachers and students with a practical application for the classroom.
