Moderator Bio:
Alex Vejar is a musician, journalist and cinephile from Los Angeles. His passion for storytelling began with songwriting and led him to a career in sportswriting that eventually brought him to Utah in 2018. He started his film programming journey with the Utah Queer Film Festival in 2022. He is currently on the programming committee of the Utah Film Center’s Artist Foundry. Alex has also worked as a screener or programming committee member for the Sundance Film Festival, Salute Your Shorts Film Festival, FOCUS on the fUTure Film Festival and Utah International Film Festival.
