Utah Film Center’s Media Education programs promote arts education by introducing teachers and students to the transformational power of film and filmmaking in the classroom. The seventh grade resources below are free and include film screenings, workshops, professional development, field trips, and lessons while supporting the core curriculum requirements for arts education in the state of Utah.

Learn the basics of storytelling in the movies, and the tools and techniques to write a story for the screen.
This workshop is available both virtually and in-person.
The in-person option is available to the Salt Lake, Murray, Alpine, Provo, Jordan, Canyons, Nebo, South Summit, Wasatch, Park City, Granite, Juab, North Sanpete, Carbon, Tintic, Tooele, and Davis School Districts for Fall 2022.
