On Sunday, March 15, Utah Film Center welcomed our community for our inaugural A Red Carpet Affair fundraiser; an evening of glamour, community, and a shared love of cinema.
Guests arrived dressed in their Hollywood glam, stepping onto the red carpet and into a space transformed for celebration.

Throughout the night, attendees cast their ballots, enjoyed specialty drinks, and experienced interactive experiences that highlighted the impact of our year-round programs, such as our Media Education’s stop motion animation station, and our Artist Foundry’s personalized illustrations by SLCC fashion students.
The live telecast of the 2026 Oscars kept the excitement alive! We were especially proud to celebrate two incredible Academy Award wins connected to Utah Film Center. MR. NOBODY AGAINST PUTIN (Winner for Best Documentary Feature) and ALL THE EMPTY ROOMS (Winner for Best Documentary Short Film) were both Executive Produced by our founder, Geralyn White Dreyfous. We’re thrilled to be able to share in this remarkable achievement.
