At Utah Film Center, Fiscal Sponsorship and Artist Foundry work together as one Artist Support program, addressing the two things every filmmaker needs most: funding and community. Fiscal Sponsorship gives qualified projects from anywhere access to our 501(c)(3) nonprofit status, enabling donors to make fully tax-deductible contributions that go directly toward getting a project made. Artist Foundry complements that financial support with the tools to bring a project to life; co-working and edit space, workshops, mentorship, and a network of fellow filmmakers and industry professionals. Together, these programs guide storytellers from first draft to final cut, offering both the resources and the relationships needed to get films made and seen.
Our Fiscal Sponsorship program, founded in 2008 by award-winning producer Geralyn Dreyfous, has supported over 400 independent film and storytelling projects. By serving as a trusted partner between donors and storytellers, we make it seamless to bring vital stories to the screen.
