As the Film Exhibition Manager at the Utah Film Center, Kate Sensenig works directly with our programming department to bring diverse, inspired, and groundbreaking stories to Utah audiences. Before joining the Utah Film Center, she worked as a set production assistant in Los Angeles on projects such as Annapurna Pictures’ NIGHTBITCH (2024). Kate holds a Bachelor of Arts in English and Creative Writing from Scripps College. While pursuing her degree, she helped manage a non-profit, student-run coffee shop that prioritized creating a safe space for marginalized groups on campus. Besides her involvement with the Utah Film Center, Kate is an aspiring filmmaker and also a member of the Artist Foundry. In her free time, Kate loves to get outside, read, cook new recipes, and, of course, watch films.
